Happy Independence Day Bettys!
Hot fun in the summertime….. and much more! We have some very exciting events planned for the sizzlin’ month of July and hope you’ll be able to join us. We have an action packed holiday weekend set for you starting off with our 4th of July Holiday Pool Party/Potluck at Renee’s place. Later that night we have a party at Gipsy and the next night at Candy Bar! Brenda and the posse are heading to Charlie’s for our monthly line dancing. We’re hosting a Singles Social at The Escape Lounge for all you unattached ladies looking to meet someone special or make new friends. Alice will be talking about our past lives and explaining how they affect us here in this life. Felicia is taking us back in time to the 80’s for a night of discoing at Charlie’s new 80’s Night. Bring the whole family out for action-filled fun at Sky Mania the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month through September 31st. This is a great place for the family with wall-to-wall trampolines, 3-D games and many other activities. If you live in the east or south part of the valley join Cindy T. for some bowling at Sunset Station. Or catch her for coffee the next morning at Panera’s inside The District. Brenda will be hosting her monthly bowling at Red Rock Lanes for all you west end girls. Also, Terry and Cindi will be hosting their dinner and movie matinee, but haven’t made up their minds yet where, so stay tuned for more info about these two events. Our Betty Book Club has decided to take the summer off, but promises to start back up in the fall. Many thanks to Char and Yvonne for hosting the book club, you ladies have been doing a great job and deserve a summer break! Sadly, this month we’re saying good-bye to Patti. She’s been on the board for several years now heading up most of our sporting events and being an overall Betty helper at all of our events. We thank you for all the years of devotion that you have given the Bettys and all your hard work. Don’t think this gets you out of being our BBQ-er! lololol Friday, July 4 – Holiday Pool Party Potluck at Renee’s. Join the Bettys for their annual 4th of July Pool Party at Renee’s house in the southeast part of the valley. The fun will begin at 11am and go until 6pm. This is a potluck so please bring a dish to share with everyone, whatever you want to drink, your swimsuit, towel, and sun block! DJ Lisa Pitman will be spinning some steamy songs for us to get our groove on with plus they’ll have hot, sexy go-go dancers! Thursday, July 10 – Line Dancing at Charlie’s with Brenda. Meet Brenda at the back bar in Charlie’s at 7:30pm for a night of line dancing and fun with The Bettys! Lessons start at 7pm and the party goes until we drop. Charlie’s is located at 5012 S. Sunday, July 13 – Past lives seminar and potluck with Alice. This seminar will discuss the concept of past lives and the importance of past lives to your present and your future. You will learn how to access past lives and how to verify the information received. Past lives can influence your current life in many ways. This seminar will attempt to explain how past lives work and how to get in touch with your past lives. It is often said that souls travel together which means that many of the people you are attracted to you have known in a past life. There will be a question and answer period and a group meditation. Workshop fee is $5 and please bring a dish to share. Alice will be available to do private readings after the workshop for a separate fee. Charlie’s is bringing back the 80’s on Wednesday nights. Join Felicia by the back bar at 7:30 to step back in time to a place where big hair, parachute pants and doing the robot were considered cool…. Charlie’s is located at 5012 S.
